Sound familiar?

  • The same questions, again and again

You love helping, but explaining the TV remote for the fifth time is wearing you both down.

  • Worry about scams

You know scammers target older adults. You wonder what pop-up or phone call your parent might fall for.

  • You live too far away

Helping over the phone is frustrating when you can't see the screen.

  • There just isn't time

Between work, kids, and life, tech help keeps getting pushed to "next weekend."

How it works for families

  1. Step 1: You book (or your parent does)

Book online or call (605) 610-8764. You can pay, even from out of town.

  2. Step 2: Bethany visits your parent

Patient, one-on-one help in their own home, on their own devices, at their pace.

  3. Step 3: You get a short summary

With your parent's OK, you get an email after each visit: what they learned and what's next.

Questions families ask

Do I need to be there for the visit?

No. You can book the visit and let your parent enjoy it on their own. You are welcome to join in person or by phone if you like.

Can I pay for my parent?

Yes. The Family Peace of Mind plan is billed to you, and you can pay for any single visit or gift a visit, too.

Will you tell me what happened at the visit?

With your parent's written OK, you get a short summary email after each visit on the Family plan. We share what we worked on and what's next, never passwords or private details.

What if my parent doesn't want help?

That's okay. A gift visit or a free 15-minute phone call is a low-pressure way to start, and there are never any silly questions.

What if I think my parent is being scammed right now?

Call (605) 610-8764. If money was sent, have your parent call their bank right away, using the number on the back of their card.

Will you ask my parent for their passwords?

Never. Tech Whiz will never ask for your passwords over the phone, text, or email. Your parent types their own passwords during a visit, so they stay in control.
